Emergency Attendance Fees
Our emergency attendance fee covers getting an Oz Plumbing & Gas technician to your property outside normal business hours. Repair work is priced separately and will be explained before we proceed.
Why is there an after-hours attendance fee?
Calling a plumber out after hours means bringing a qualified technician back to work specifically for your emergency. Our after-hours employment costs include a minimum three-hour payment at double-time rates, even if the initial attendance takes less time.
The attendance fee helps cover this after-hours commitment, travel and making a technician available outside normal business hours. Any repair work required is priced separately and explained before we proceed.
You are not being charged three hours of plumbing labour. The minimum three-hour payment is an employment cost Oz Plumbing & Gas incurs when calling a technician out after hours.

Every plumbing issue is different, and the final price may vary depending on the condition of the plumbing, access, materials required, extent of damage and the work needed to safely resolve the problem.
Where additional work, materials or equipment are required, we’ll explain what we’ve found and confirm the additional cost with you before proceeding wherever practical.
